Broccoli for the Apocalypse? Or just dinner

Well, I know it's for dinner. This is the same broccoli plant from two years ago! From Lakewood Garden Center. It survived through last winter, bloomed in March, and has been providing broccoli for us almost the whole time. We thought they were done for this year, but we'll have broccoli from two plants tonight. Three of the five we bought are still thriving.
These snap dragons turn out to be year-round blooming perennials also.
And a cutting from the neighbor's pussy willow bush that bloomed yesterday for the dinner table.
