Subject: Don't be afraid to call 911!!!

I just had a conversation with the "Officer in Charge" today. We had two robberies in western Lakewood. When the detectives interviewed neighbors the next day, two residents reported seeing "Two suspicious men". Unfortunately they did not act on their suspicions. The message is simple; the police want to be called out every time a resident sees some thing fishy. You won't get in trouble if you are wrong, but you may save someone's property if you are right. This is the time of year the crooks are most active, checking cars and unlocked doors looking for Christmas presents for themselves.
