Lakewood schools just robo called to say they are closed tomorrow,
got the call on the rotary phone we plugged in because the power is
out.

At the library tonight I heard that Woodward, Westwood, Summit,
Victoria, half of Mars, Lakeland and Riverside are out.

Stay safe everyone.

Wagar lost power at 7.30, restored at 10 and then out at 2.30 AM.

Power still out there at 8.15 AM.

Hi Matt--

Power is still out on Westwood, including the light at Detroit, Elmwood and Victoria are still out, and the Root Cafe (which lost power over night but got it back) is filling up with people from Rocky River who apparently have no power in their homes or cafes.

The garbage pickup was on time this morning.

Power out at my house for the last 14 hours. Stopped at Sunoco this morning to fill up the phone charger.

We have not had power since the 5:00 on Monday; First Energy says we may not have power restored till the weekend. Because of the 4 trees down on Edgewater and one on Leedale, we cannot access our house by car. Guess it is a good thing I live in a walkable community and have a daughter and son-in-law who are kindhearted.

Heidi

Hated to see this, but glad you posted. I ran into a retired LHS teacher at City Hall this morning.
He told me how "those people, down north" had all their power restored immediately. I told
him that is not the case, and for all I know, the mayor might not have power, as people I
know near him are without power.

It seems that the northern latitudes of Lakewood often get the brunt of the storm and the
blackouts. I remember one friend referring to it as, "Little Havana."

Let me know if we can help.

I live in the apartment building which contains Max Tan...still no power. Had to take a freezing cold shower. Not pretty.
