All

I am sure after the last issue of the Observer, and this one, we have all reevaluated our
check list of things to do in 2012 and have most of them checked off with the exception of
Holiday Shopping and Celebration. So I would suggest, take a break from life. Walk
Lakewood Park, walk Madison Park, walk and explore Kauffman Park, and all of Lakewood
Parks. My personal favorite is the mini-park on Madison and Highland. Pictured below in an artists rendering.

From the new Lakewood postcard collection being offered in a limited run.

Take the time and walk down to Sweet Water Landing, the Dog Park, and hike the glorious
Emerald Canyon, in it most colorful season, fall. The colors are sure to be as spectacular
in the morning on a crisp fall day.

Walk Detroit Avenue, taking in the "Detroit Avenue ChowLine" offering good food for 2.2
miles, and stop and shop in Lakewood's Downtown, our "Miracle .8ths of a Mile." Walk
along historic Highland Ave, and back down Madison Avenue, past "Birdville" according to
historians, and the celebrated "Uptown" of Lakewood Ohio, and back to the Riverside
Drive in the historic Emerald Canyon Area of Lakewood.

Lakewood is wonderful, and a great place to live, and raise a family.

Some people ask is it half empty or half full. I just shake my head, how could one city
hold anymore love and participation. I don't know, but we will find out!

Until next time. Buy and support local first. It is not a slogan, it should be a lifestyle.

Peace/love

As usual, I enjoyed many parts of the paper.
However, I especially liked Tom George's article on the construction of I-90.
Although I live a few hundred feet from the interstate, there was a lot in the article that I never knew before.
