The man has zero reason to be president, and each and every day it becomes more obvious that only fools could stand with him. Much like Bush in the second term, just pitiful, not even governor material.
The Republican Party needs to get its act together.
We need alternatives, but they should be smart, qualified and not shills.
You really have to stop calling yourself and independent and come out of the closet.
LOL... People / the media and liberals criticized Bush for adding $5 Trillion to the deficit in 8 years.. Obama matched that in under 4 years.. Obviosuly you took the blue pill.. next time try the red pill

Jim,
One of the reasons I like The Daily Show (and moreso the Colbert Report) is that, although you have to recognize there is a bit of left-side of the aisle bias, they do actually use the words on the station to show just how ridiculous some of the commentary is.
So in this respect, I agree.
But one thing that makes me sad about this country is how swayed people are by either goofy comics or bad reporting. How many people actually know and understand the differences between the policies of the two candidates?
Not many.

1) Obama’s $825 Billion stimulus failed to keep the unemployment rate below 8 percent 2) Affordable health Insurance (Premiums have gone up) Obama promised savings of $2,500 per family. The average cost of a family plan has gone up by 28%. (and you will not be able to keep your own plan if you like it) 3) More Green jobs.. Really? Solyndra.. $535 million gone! 4) Cash for Clunkers 5) Outsourcing Embassy security while cutting their security budget

This is not the difference between the two candidate's policies.
These are facts that are not fully objective in evaluating Obama vs. Romney. Sorry Stephen, you have a clear anti-Obama bias so you aren't really doing a lot to disprove my point.

I listened to the lies at the Republican National Platitudathon. I've listened to Romney/Ryan attack Obama. I'm still waiting to hear specifics about Romney's plan. He states what needs to happen; however, he never tells us exactly how he is going to accomplish anything. He claims he will create 12 million new jobs in four years; however, economists project that those jobs will be created regardless of who is elected. Anyone can cite statistics about Obama's so-called failures; however, I am not convinced that Romney, the elitist millionaire, has a concrete plan to address the issues that concern middle class Americans.

I am not evaluating Obama vs. Romney. I am simply pointing out Obama's failures and BS. Hope & Change has failed.. In 2008, Obama ran against Bush's deficit spending and "Bush's wars".. He has done nothing to remedy deficit spending or the problems / wars in the Middle East. Obama does not deserve a second term.. You certainly would not give the captain of the Titanic a second ship to cross the Atlantic...
Thanks for posting that video I forgot about that quote. It is unfortunate he didn't have better ideas. He is telling us he needs more time but all he is going to do continue with policies that just don't work, which will dig us deeper into the hole Bush/Barney Frank & friends started.
It is interesting that people are upset that Romney doesn't give details yet they are supporting someone whose details have damaged our country more than any other president. Why would you want more of the same? Insanity - doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results. I guess that sums up the democratic party right now.
I cannot agree with your choice of Gary Johnson though, a vote for Gary is a vote for Obama. Give Gary money to spread his vision but vote for Romney to prevent more damage to our country.

Well this is pretty damn on the money.
Here is more from that "hidden video". Part the "Obama reelection networks" won't show.
No, they are not fully objective because you only cite negatives. If you want to be unbiased, you have to admit that not everything that happens under a presidency is bad. In your case, you are just so anti-Obama that you lose some objectivity.
I looked at your Gary Johnson and I had a few questions for you.
1) If Fair Tax Legislation is passed, how on earth are you going to pay for SS?
2) Fair Tax Legislation would be so unbelievably regressive you would damage all the lower and middle income families. Please explain to me how this is a good thing. At least Obama and Romney don't want to explicitly raise taxes on the poor.
3)What does Johnson want to cut spending on? Education? National Defense? Entitlement Programs?
4) While Johnson's ideas about state reformation of healthcare are interesting, I wonder, how would that work? Similarly, is he aware of the challenges that pension systems in the US have faced with transient populations?
5) It's funny how isolationist Johnson is. Does he think that we should go back to pre-WWI days? Because that is what some of this looks like.
