Meet The Trucks - Having A Blast

Since Meet The Trucks started, it has grown into one of the biggest events for the little ones
in Lakewood and beyond. I remember the first year, and thinking to myself, you know it
seems like such a simple but positive idea. Get all the trucks in a city in one place for kids,
who positively love big trucks, get a chance to play on them! Good PR for the city, city
services, police and fire. Well it did end up being a great idea, now being copied around the
country, as I said to Mayor Summers yesterday, "This might be the best thing we have ever
exported to another city." he smiled and agreed.
