I can relate best to the last finishers. My family and I were dead last a few years ago in a fundraising race for autism. We would have been in the category or " Two worn out sweaty parents pushing one child, pulling one child and walking with one child while all carrying animal shaped balloons while singing and jumping over cracks in the pavement." This was a competitive category, none the less.

In fact, at one point I believe the police car following us offered us a ride just so traffic behind us could get going.

The singing and jumping will always be up there in best ever "dad moments." We took our time, and that was just fine with us.
