16 Gallons of Blood!

Yesterday the American Red Cross was at City Hall looking for blood donors, so I stopped by
to see how well they were doing. The place was packed, "but more is always needed" said
Katie Ezell of the American Red Cross.

Looking around I see a familiar face, and go over to see him get jabbed.

Retired Police Sgt. and current School Board Vice President Edward Favre laying back
starting his sixteenth gallon of blood donated to the American Red Cross! Here Katie
Ezell, Donor Recruitment Representative, puts a 16 gallon pin on Ed.

If you can, give blood, it doesn't hurt, takes only minutes, and saves lives.
