AXA Advisors Repurpose Church And Keeps Neighborhood Intact

In what was called a win-win by Mayor Michael P. Summers, AXA Advisors cut the ribbon and
celebrated their move into a new location at 16300 Delaware Ave. the old West Shore Assembly of God Church.

CEO and President of the Lakewood Chamber of Commerce presents Mike Daso, president
of AXA Advisers, with a plaque, while Lakewood's Mayor Michael P. Summers looks on.
The Mayor spoke shortly before the ribbon cutting on how this was a win-win. He pointed out
that not only was an empty church repurposed, never and easy task. But it was done in the
middle of a residential neighborhood with no impact on the neighbors. Actually they were glad
to get a nice quiet Lakewood owned company to move in and be part of their neighborhood.

Then it was time to cut the ribbon and make it official!

A nice crowd had shown up for the ribbon cutting and party.

Eric from Sun News listens to Bryce Slyvester, now of the Planning Department talk with
his old boss, Ian Andrews, Director of LakewoodAlive, about the old days a couple months
ago, where Bryce was an intern right out of college.

The actual church has been turned into a large meeting room.

Congratulations to Mike Daso and everyone at AXA Advisors, to the City Of Lakewood,
the Lakewood Chamber of Commerce, and the neighbors.
