City Hall Phone Lines!

I am not sure if anyone has called City Hall and tried to get through when Evelyn, the
receptionist with many other duties has been busy. It borders on insanity. You are forced
to guess the names of departments, and hope you guess right. The one I always forgot
was Community Relations.
WELL it is a whole lot better now. This administration took the time while Evelyn was out to
track all of the phone calls coming in over two weeks, and have built a whole new system
around a common sense approach. What got the most calls, got moved to the top of the
order to get people where they are going faster.
Calling about Taxes? Not only will it tell you the departments and ask you if you want to be
collected, it will also mention that if they are property taxes you need to call the County, and
it will give you their number!!!
Give the city a call, and listen. I bet you learn something useful.
