The Observation Deck

At the last Lakewood Family Collaborative meeting, members decided to collect personal care items for the many families and individuals in need in the Lakewood, and west side, communities. The Lakewood Community Services Center, a partner of the Lakewood Family Collaborative, does not receive any funding to provide these items; however, as you can imagine they are very much in demand. Please bring items with you to the February meeting (2/23 at 1pm, Lakewood Women's Pavilion). If you can't stay for the meeting that is fine--you can drop off the items. Additionally, items can be dropped at the Center located at 14230 Madison Ave. Here are the personal care items most needed:

Shampoo
Conditioner
Bar soap
Deodorant
Razors
Shave cream
Lotion
Toothpaste
Toothbrushes
Dishwashing soap
Laundry detergent
Toilet paper

Thanks for thinking of this since they do have set hours. I would encourage people to visit their website to find out all that they do for our community. It is quite extensive and they are always looking for great volunteers.
