Kid's Night at Jammy Buggars

In case there are any parents are out there who don't know-- Jammy Buggars has Kids' Night every Monday night, where for the price of one adult sandwich or entree, TWO kids eat for free from the kids' menu. It's lovely-- extremely affordable and such a great break for the grownups.
Jim Sprenger, Jammy Buggar's owner, said when he opened that he hoped people would come to view the restaurant as an experience like going home to your mom's house to relax and have a good and satisfying home-cooked meal that you didn't have to make, in a completely relaxed environment. He is definitely doing that, and he's making it work with a restaurant full of kids on Monday nights (it's not noisy!)
Anyway, here's what the adults started with:
Soup of the day was tomato bisque soup with Parmesan and truffles. SO good. So perfect for a chilly night. And we had to have the wild mushroom soup also, which is wonderful and is on the menu every day.
We haven't checked out the Horror Movie nights on Friday yet (maybe just my oldest kid for that) but Jammy Buggars has been great for the mental health of our family.
