Hi all,

The cello players being videotaped at Sinagra Park were part of an online Christmas celebration happening online, and all day Christmas Day.

The people at CityEdge church are behind the "Advent Conspiracy." They decided that rather than spend money renting their space at Garfield Middle School for their Christmas Day church services, they would hand out the money to everyone in their church and ask that they use that money to help other people, here and there, where it would come in handy, in the name of celebrating Christmas by making a difference big and small.

So in lieu of a church service in person, they are having a church service online, to share with the whole city. The cello players were part of the online ceremony. It will run all day, and there will be an interactive element so you can celebrate with them, and also connect with others that are celebrating with you online.

This, as it was explained to me by Kevin Rush, the head of the City Edge church, allows you to have Christmas morning, and day at home with your family, and also celebrate Christmas with your community.

Pretty cool idea. Here's the link to celebrate Christmas online: http://www.cityedge.org/online
