Another example of Lakewood being where the action is...

Fox 8's Lorrie Taylor and her cameraman stopped into the Root to find out how Lakewood was feeling on "Cyber Monday," the more gentle relative of "Black Friday" that allows people to get shopping deals online without the crowds.



I think the news channels always congregate at the Root because they get to stop and drink the coffee.

I'm not sure what Lakewoodites had to say about Cyber Monday. Lorrie Taylor said they were looking for local online sites to put on the news, along with the standard corporate stores. I think B and B Appliance is having one. We'll have to watch Fox 8 tonight to see what we had to say!
