This year's Halloween Window painting project has been a chilly one. We were tremendously lucky to be painting at Nunzio's pizza (a location we painted once before, when it was Rosati's). Not only did they let us come in and get warm and use their bathroom and water to clean up, they brought us free pizza as we were painting! They also provided free pizza to the family painting the windows to the west of us, who weren't even decorating Nunzio's windows. The pizza was great, we never had it before, but we've already been back. Also great chicken sandwiches for my non pizza eating child.
It might rain tomorrow so get out and see all of the amazing windows before they drip away.
This second one is a bat carrying a dead human, courtesy of my six-year-old. Behind the windows, if you look carefully, you can see the pizzas being made. What a great time. Thanks to the Lakewood Chamber of Commerce and the Beck Center for the event my children look forward to most every year.
