A Lakewood City School District Treasurer Search Update

I have had many inquiries about the status of the Lakewood City School District Board of Education’s search for our next Treasurer. A brief summary is below.
On October 3, 2011, the Board’s search for the next Lakewood City School District Treasurer formally launched. The “OSBA Treasurer Search Brochure” is attached.
The Board anticipates having a new Treasurer selected and under contract before December 31, 2011.
The Board’s plan is to have the next Treasurer start, on or before August 1, 2012, working collaboratively with Rick Berdine toward a formal transition on December 31, 2012, which is Mr. Berdine’s last date of employment with the Lakewood City Schools.
