It seems to be a trend

where we get a frantic call about another special needs/abuse case. This time it involves a 2 month old starved, dumped puppy. When I saw the little stinker, my heart sank and I wrapped her up in my arms and took her to the vet. Starved, no muscle mass, the start of pneumonia, and just a tiny little baby. The worst part, is if her "owner" was ever found, the laws in Ohio are so weak the person would get a stern "Don't do it again" and nothing else. This has to change. The vet says she has no muscle mass what so ever, her skin is horrible from no nutrition, her belly plumps when she eats because of the lack of muscles, who knows what other "parasites" are floating around (I will find out today).
Anyway, meet Tiny girl. I am still trying to come up with a new name, but she is just tiny..
