Two of my favorite photographers Tom Warren, and Dan Morgan, both of Lakewood. Tried
to get me to put down the camera and start using my cell phone. Well while I still prefer
the camera, the cell phone does offer some unique opportunities for images. So I will start
posting some of mine here, please feel free to jump in and post yours.

I don't know anything about the effects, Jim, but your eye for composition always impresses me.

Jim,
You should title this thread, “I Paint With Phones.” You are an iPhone Picasso!

Maybe I will change the title, but so many are putting out great cell phone images I wanted to leave it open,
I also have some other iphone tricks coming up, plus some images from a couple other cell phones I have
owned that have their own unique qualities.
Difference between the two galleries. ONE is me, me, me.
Here on the Deck I prefer WE, WE, WE.
I have seen you take some phone images, post a couple.
The best images are the ones that are shared.
Michael,
Just lucky, surrounded by good subjects, that stop in just the right spot.

Among the I-phone's many attributes is its ability to capture The Force.

I was innocently photographing the graduation party of the Star Wars role playing group
at the library last Spring with my I-phone, when The Force revealed itself, emanating
from one of the role-playing graduates (in whom the Force must be very, very strong.)

This is my best work in years. Jim, thanks for opening my eyes to cell phone photography. Ivor better watch out, I am taking this medium to a whole new level. Watch out Ansel, landscapes are next.

Sunday coffee with old friend and former Lakewoodite, Brian McMahon. Brian was 1/3 of the seminal punk band
the electric eels. The electric eels are often given credit for being the start of punk music, because of many of the
things they pioneered, and the bands that listed them as an influence later down the road.
