Salvage what can be saved from the Historic Detroit Theather

It would be great, if before demolishing the Detroit Theather, whatevers worth saving could be salvaged and donated to "HABITAT FOR HUMANITY" Clevelands warehouse. Everything from seats, floors, lighting fixtures, bathroom fixtures, concession fixtures, anything usuable, any building materials, windows, doors, frames, memorabelia, whatever.
There are new homes for these items, let the residents have the oppertunity to own a peice of the Detroit Theather, everything is usefull, and could live a new life, don't destroy and toss these usefull items to the land fill. I would even volenteer to disasemble fixtures a day or two a week. I want to help save something worth while.
1. Habitate for Humanity can further promote it's cause, helping more families, by generating necessary funding for it's programs.
2. Residents can purchase these items and reuse them in their homes and businesses.
3. We can all save vintage historic building materials.
Remember what happened to most of our beautiful old schools, gone forever, trash... I would love to have an old class room door going into my garage from my mud room, how cool is that.
