Hello, all.

I thought I would go ahead and post this invitation. Obviously, folks do not need to be invited to shop at Lakewood Hardware on a Saturday. However, I am happy Glenn Palmer has allowed me to hold my campaign kick-off event at his store.

This is a great opportunity to get what you need to clean the yard and finish a few projects as well as enjoy some ice cream and conversation.

I hope to see many of you on October 1 between 10:00 and 2:00.

What a great place for a campaign kick-off event. I'll be there with my husband (if he's not working), who LOVES Lakewood Hardware. Even though you are not the Councilperson representing my Ward (who is among the many many unopposed candidates up for re-election this Fall) we will be supporting you because of the great job you are doing representing all of us. Talk about hitting the ground running; you remind me of a few (very few) others in government who are best referred to as public servants, instead of politicians.

LOVE it when city representatives and administrators get the importance of partnering up with our local businesses and can get creative with our endless Lakewood assets. Looks like you get it.

It's supposed to be windy but dry tomorrow and I will have 200 individually wrapped ice-cream sandwiches, drumsticks, etc., for adults and children alike.

David Anderson is getting many takers at his ice cream campaign kick-off.

David is my councilman and neighbor. I really give the guy credit. Not just because he is
smart and understands, housing, education, and how cities work and get funded, but
because he thinks out of the box. When was the last time you saw a campaign kick off in
anything but a bar at 7pm. All morning, though it was cold, David was out there handing
out ice cream bars, meeting residents, and having a great time.
