Another one bites the dust

Guess which one this is?
Yeah, just the building next to the Lutheran church, not a word has been spoken about missing this building, but take a look, it's a beautiful old building. I was trying to get a picture of the stone carvings at the top, but am limited by the i-phone.
I took this picture today; the Westwood Dry Cleaner people still have racks of shirts in the window, with one side of the building torn off. I see that they're moving across the street, I guess they're taking their time but they must be pretty brave to continue cleaning shirts when that shovel thing is smashing into the building from the other side.
My son's friend said his sister babysat for a family that lived in that building, and he used to go along sometimes and play with the little kids. I know there was a chiropractic place there, and a the headquarters of one of these new Lakewood churches.
My daughter's comment: Wow, that's going to be one big CVS.
At this point, I feel like I have to document the disappearing landscape, only because these are the simple landmarks of my kids' lives, and we noticed the carvings, and the different businesses and we walked on the curb in front of the church, and when you got to that building there was a big stone shaped like a full-sized head that was at first too big for my kids to climb, and then became the measure of their bravery as they jumped off of it, first holding my hand, then not, and finally, they skipped right onto it from the curb. I'm sure we are one of thousands of families that traveled that same route, with those same challenges, stopping to jump off of the head on the way home.
Yeah, little things, the little weird things that make up a life. Maybe CVS will have a curb to walk on.
