Mayor Mike Summers stopped by Fire Station 1 this afternoon at 3:45pm to swear in
8 Lakewood Firemen to the rank of Captain.

From Left to right; Ryan Watson – new Firefighter/Paramedic (replacement hire),
Tim Rideout – new Firefighter/Paramedic (replacement hire),
Kyle Kaptein – new Firefighter/Paramedic (replacement hire),
Josh Erdani - new Firefighter/Paramedic (replacement hire),
Brian Sedmak – new Firefighter/Paramedic (replacement hire),
Matt Scharfenberg – new Firefighter/Paramedic (replacement hire),
Lakewood Mayor Michael P. Summers,
Eric Klonowski – transfer from Paramedic to Firefighter/Paramedic,
Joe Schmook – promotion from Firefighter to Captain, and Fire Chief Scott Gillman
