C.O.M.I.C.S.!

The "Create Original Manuscripts Illustrated Completely Series" COMICS class, had their last meeting at the library yesterday, with a grand finale party and a display of the artists' work, food and dancing!
Miss Stephanie and Miss Nicka (sorry guys, I can't really figure out from what the kids are saying, what your COMIC names are..) led a group of young artists from ideas, to characters, to plot to finished illustrated individual comics. They had a great time, and can point to their own comic book when anybody asks them what they did on their summer vacation.

The party! Families were invited to view the art, meet the artists, drink, eat and dance.
Thank you so much to the fabulous instructors, and to the Lakewood Public Library that plays a huge part in a our kids having stimulating, productive (!) and fun summer vacations.
