LEAF Community Pitches City Hall

"Jim I am telling you many people do not know what LEAF is, and we have a chance to
explain it to the new members of City Council." LO Editor and president of LEAF told me
after she received her award for helping the schools through the Lakewood Observer.
I laughed and could not believe it, how could anyone not know about the most successful
CSA in Ohio, and the model for many, many other cities. I suppose it is true, but I know
Parma has approached them, Collinwood has approached them, Westlake is knocking, how
could anyone not know about one of the best things in Lakewood.
Margaret Brinich, Annie Stahlheber Burgoyne, and Brad Hutchinson sat down with Lakewood
City Council On The Whole meeting to let them know what LEAF is.
