Harding Middle School Power of the Pen State Champs

Just heard that Harding Middle School placed 1st out of 282 Ohio middle schools in the Power of the Pen competition held at the College of Wooster. Having two children who are Emerson/Harding Power of the Pen Alum I know how hard it is to even get to the state finals. Congratulations to the team and their faculty coaches. They put in countless hours outside of the school day preparing for this event.

Great news.
It's nice to see that kids can still be creative in the age of internet, video games and other potentially imagination-draining technical devices.
