Hilliard River waters Lakewood Garden Center plants

Well not much of a monsoon. I did get a picture of the river that always runs straight downhill heading north from Hilliard to Detroit.
As you can see, we managed to get our grass cut before it rained AND...
planted strawberry plants from the Lakewood Garden Center. Notice, even in this blurry, rain spattered I-phone picture, the three strawberries already growing! That's what I like, plants that are already doing so well that I look like a good and knowledgeable gardener. (ha!) It was the first time we've been there. It was so great.
We got the broccoli planted also. (Yes it's a small yard.) We ate two of the florets off the plants before we planted them. Not kidding! (I guess it's late to plant? I know not.) And threaded delicately up the fence by my daughters, sugar peas!
I heard that the Lakewood Garden Center was on Fox News tonight. I didn't see it but might watch at 10 PM, these guys are wonderful. We came for broccoli but couldn't leave without flowers, more vegetables, and my friend bought a tree. Everything was so healthy and beautiful and affordable we couldn't help ourselves.
