Had the pleasure of listening to David C. Barnet do a piece on hyper-local journalism this morning; of course, our very own J.O.B. was one of the interviewees.
Here is the link (hope it works; I'm technologically illiterate!): http://www.ideastream.org/news/feature/39543#

Thanks just heard it. A two hour conversation with David boiled down to a couple minutes
of comments, that had very little to do with the Project. While a nice piece, I would have
loved had he run the new piece on our two newest projects or the two we walked away from.
While he grabbed a great soundbite for controversy,
I found David to be a good person to kick it with, so who knows down the road?

I did and he spoke with Ken Warren many times before. I think everyone is amazed at just
how well planned out every aspect of this was. People like to think we are the Little Rascals
but we had a group of very dedicated people that spoke with many professionals with one
simple idea. EVERYONE deserves a place at the table.
From there it is only a matter if they can put up.
Funny how many can't.
