About 1600 cases of myocarditis from 192,000,000 people vaccinated ave been confirmed as of recently.

https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/3507666 ... %20million.

That is much lower than the rates of myocarditis, other complications, or death in people that are unvaccinated.

Generally 90 to 95 percent of the people that continue to die from covid are unvaccinated.

One aspect of herd-immunity is that the disease kills most of the people it is going to kill. Then it fades into a milder endemic. A simple vaccination gives you greater resistance to infections or future infections. A hundred years ago many married people would simply crank out as many kids as they could. A high percentage of these infants or small children would die of diseases easily preventable or treatable by 1950s levels of vaccines and antibiotics.

The OHIO COVID-19 Dashboard last Thursday showed 2.688.327 new cases (a change of 6890 new cases from the previous Thursday), but no new tests.
This Thursday they show 2,697,058 new cases (a change of 8731 new cases from the previous Thursday), but again no new tests.

THIS IS NOT POSSIBLE!

I sent them a comment last week but got no response.

If someone here knows someone in state government that can remedy this, please let them know.

If you do some additional research you may learn that the Ohio Department of Health reports Covid-19 cases on the same or similar seasonal basis to which it reports influenza cases.

Because self-testing goes unreported, the case statistics are not "literal" or "accurate" until reported as hospitalizations and/or deaths.

For those of us of a certain age, the risk of Covid-19 remains a realistic consideration in daily activities despite multiple booster shots.

Mark

I’ve recently seen many friends and relatives who are vaxxed and boosted get infected with Covid. This latest variant is immune evasive and extremely contagious.

I will read Mr. Liston's post as an image depicting "statistical noise".

If it has a different meaning, I look forward to reading it in prose or poetry.

In the meantime, as I have posted elsewhere on this forum, there is little or no information available or aggregated for Covid-19 impacts in Lakewood that I have seen in recent months.

Almost of all of my local information is merely anecdotal as those I know report their own family experiences.

In the past three or four years, the City of Lakewood has paid the Cuyahoga County Board of Health somewhere near $1M in annual payments ($280K) for its services.
