Even if it
only provided free flu shots to seniors and other vulnerable residents, it would still have a serious positive benefit to the community.
Folks, this is low hanging fruit.

only provided free bottles of hand-sanitizer or sanitary wipes, it would still have a serious positive benefit to the community.
The local Discount Drug Mart store that I use is sold-out of hand-sanitizer and has a limit on the quantity of sanitary wipes that a customer may purchase.

...not to mention more drastic protective measures like face masks and gloves, which are not needed now, but might be sometime, someday.
It's more appropriate for these to be dispensed on an as-needed basis that for people to go on a panic-driven buying spree and make supplies less available.

Financing Gap At One Lakewood Place
Seems pretty clear to me that the developer does not have sufficient financing to complete this project for the City despite massive public subsidies already committed by the City.

This is a $70,000,000 Project.
The City of Lakewood has already committed about 20% of that value in public land and public dollars.
Even a 10% shortfall would be another $7,000,000.

Again, why is Lakewood building high-end apartments and town-homes that no ordinary Lakewood resident can afford.
