I agree with Jim, this appears to be a nice event for Lakewood and whoever organized it Colleen or Jennifer or both, you did a great job and it was short notice.

I am curious as to why Lakewood was selected as a venue for Palin. It seems that there were other locations where there were more Republicans. Despite the number of independents in Lakewood, they are normally Democratic leaning. Seems to me she would have gotten more crowds in other Cuyahoga county locations.

Gary you said
Just think....

After tomorrow, all of us will suddenly look around, and the political fighting will be history..for now.
From your lips to God's ears. I pray we have a decision tomorrow night and there will not be controversy revolving around the election process.

A vice-presidential candidate comes stomping to Lakewood Park on a beautiful morning, the whole place looks adorable, and it appears that everybody had a great time and people are arguing about it?

Safe, Clean, Fun anyone?

Sorry, I think it was wonderful.

That event was one mile from our home. That event was televised all over the world.

Lakewood looked great - and what a coup to have that event!

I will admit, this was a national event, and we did handle it very well. Unlike when the Browns are on national televised games and somehow our fans make the city look like a joke. (another reason I am not a browns fan....among the many other reasons) And then recently when some actor(actess) has blogged about how bad the city is.
No matter who you like in this election....We did good, and showed that we in parts of Ohio know how to act like normal people. Kudos to Lakewood for looking great!!!!
