Hi Rhonda,
Just wanted to let you know that I dropped off my cache of biscuits at Rozi's on Friday evening. If you need help bagging & tagging, let me know. Also, when they're available for sale, we should post here - where, when, and how much. Just my extra two cents worth. Thanks.
Heidi

That's a good 2 cents...we should have them a gathered at Rozi's by the 14th. Then we will begin the bagging process and distrabution. More information to come and we will post where you can purchase on the deck. Justine Cooper is busy contacting business to sell them. We will know more shortly.
Great idea! This idea was hatched on the deck so we should make sure that when we finally comes to fruition it is on the deck...Will keep you posted!

Hi All:)
Missy, I don't know you but it seems you are legendary!
A few years ago, I was trying to set up an early Trap/Neuter/Return (TNR) program for feral cats but then got sidetracked with 2 babies. I have never forgotten how I would like to help animals and the dog treat distribution might be just enough for me to handle.
Almost all of the miles on my Jeep are from driving in circles in Lakewood. What's a couple of extra stops for a good cause?
If you let me know who to deliver to, I'd be happy help get these treats to the stores.
Best, Jeni
p.s. Missy, If you like making your jewelry, perhaps you could segue into cool, customized dog collars...

Thanks but I already found someone to help get the domain and someone else to offer site hosting. I am still in the process of building the site though. The observer will know once it is all up and running.

Goddess Blessed, Cuttin Loose and Bela Duby are on board to sell cookies. No surprsie since they are businesses that always continue to give back to the community. There will be more but these were the first!

Yes I know there will more following!
Jeni,
My sister in California does cat rescue and specifically was helping with feral cats. That is a cause that is sorely needed and how admirable that you do it!

Justine and Jeni, at the risk of going off-topic, just a heads-up that the citizen-staffed Animal Safety and Welfare Advisory Board will be discussing ideas around a trap-spay/neuter-release program at its meeting of Thursday, Oct. 22 at 6:30 p.m. in the council conference room at City Hall.
The board is composed of several citizens active in animal rescues, as well as a veterinarian and an animal-control officer. I'm city council's appointee to the board.
Best of luck to Missy and all the volunteers involved in her fundraising efforts.

Thanks for the heads-up Kevin!! I will put it on my calendar.
Justine, I'd love to accept your praise but I have yet to actively participate in a TNR program. When I was researching how to set it up, I found out I was pregnant with my son and soon after, my daughter. I put my animal rescue efforts on hold for a while except for the occasional return of dogs/cats who wander from their homes.
I still believe in the humane, efficient methods of TNR and will do my best to attend next week's meeting.

There is a pile of dog biscuits here at Rozi's. Is there anyone who is part of the next stage or process that can pick them up from here before tomorrow? Tomorrow will be a busy day with our event and I don't want them lost in the shuffle.
Thanks,
Corey

Hi Missy's Helpers,
Can anyone out there help us out.
We need to move some of our dog biscuits tomorrow.
Does anyone have the time and I will give you the location.
Thanks,
Rhonda
