That is not acceptable. I've been to CMHA many times. Overwhelmed with work is not an adjective I would use to describe their normal work day. In any case it only takes 30 seconds to return a call or ask your secretary to "tell that jackass to go fly a kite" or whatever.

CMHA is a public agency using public funds for a public purpose subject to the rules and regulations established by a public agency. If they are in violation of those rules I would like to know about it.

The person who runs the program should be eager to dispell false impressions and or accusations against CMHA and their management of the program.

Like I have said in the past, I think the Housing Choice Voucher Program is a good idea. If they are wasting money by overpaying for rentals I think people should be aware of it.

I have just left another message for the person who runs the program. She has not responded to my previous calls.

Question for the readers: Should I continue calling once a day? More?
Call other people working for CMHA? Give up?

Indeed...call, and call again. Unfortunately, I'm pretty sure that eventually, you will get the following :
ask your secretary to "tell that jackass to go fly a kite" or whatever.

Maybe our Congressman would like to know how well this particular agency responds? Bet thet'd answer the phone for him.

I just got a call from CMHA. They are working on the request and hope to have the information I requested by next week.
