While it is great that he answered the top-line question and Jackie's question, it does not mitigate the fact that he appeared to open a new door by alleging that "inaccurate" information is being posted on the Deck.

As I stated before, since posters on the Deck have evidently been accused of posting "inaccurate" information, I feel it is only fair that:

A. It is stated. specifically, what information has been posted that is allegedly "inaccurate".
B. Actual, tangible documentation is posted that proves that the information posted is inaccurate, with separate documentation for each alleged "inaccurate" statement.

In the absence of these, I feel that it is only fair that a retraction post and apology is made by the chief.

I also still stand by my belief that the actual, non-edited transport times should be posted publicly on Onelakewood.com and here on The Observation Deck, so everyone can see them. This information should be entered daily and should be stored in a file on a computer system. With that new fiber-optic computer system, it should be lightning fast now!

For your sake, I'm glad you are not concerned. I and the rest of us (however many people that is) will await the answers to my questions. The chief opened the door, and now I want an answer. All of the accused deserve one. The whole notion was not that beneficial in regards to public relations.

Yes, it's thread drift, but who opened the door? My last post prior to this was regarding transport times. If I have to defend the accused on this thread, so be it.

I think Lori is within her rights to question what inaccurate information he is referring to.

What really happens all too often is city reps or their minions accusing posters of "misrepresenting" issues and then constantly attacking the Observation Deck, and implicitly, the host of the Deck.

It's a campaign to smear, discredit, and malign the Deck. They would like nothing better than to shut it, and all of the posters here, up before the election.

Get ready for more in the weeks leading to the election.

The people I've heard and seen crying to shut others up are: Tom Bullock, Jay Carson, Mary Madigan, Rick Uldricks, and Jenn Pae.

They are all crying like babies at the truth being told.

They can't handle free speech.

They all have odd relationships with the truth.

Recently Corey (who supports the completely frivolous half-baked "lawsuit" by Uldicks and Carson's clan--i. e. members of the Summers-Bullock PAC) suggested a new law change coming on August 16th will shut down the Deck. LOL!!!

At the risk of further thread drift, what is "SL"? I've been meaning to ask.

I don't have a problem with Lori's line of questions, but like Brian before her, it's more with the thread drift.
Also I simply appreciate that Chief Gilman shares what he can here. Aside from occasional sightings of Dan O'Malley, he's about the only one.

Calling the Lakewood ER and Urgi Care is an inaccurate statement. Urgent Care centers are setup to assist patients with an illness or injury that does not appear to be life –threatening, but also can’t wait until the next day, or for primary care doctor to see them. The Lakewood ER offers 24 hour service and provides a much wider range of care. Life threatening illness and injures have been handled by the Lakewood ER.

I have been accused of hiding behind HIPPA because i will not provide patient care reports. Those reports are not public record and LFD does not have run sheets. We also do not currently produce a report of transport times but are investigating how to pull that data. The data to produce a report like that comes from multiple different sources such as entry by a dispatcher a time stamp from the life pak that exports to the EMS report and a time stamp from the hospital. Below is exemption from the ORC for patient care reports.

149.43 Availability of public records for inspection and copying.
(A) As used in this section:

(1) "Public record" means records kept by any public office, including, but not limited to, state, county, city, village, township, and school district units, and records pertaining to the delivery of educational services by an alternative school in this state kept by the nonprofit or for-profit entity operating the alternative school pursuant to section 3313.533 of the Revised Code. "Public record" does not mean any of the following:

(a) Medical records

I am used to labels....you don't run a rescue without some labels.
