Please elaborate.
What does JOB stand to gain on the hospital issue? Does he hold a financial stake in the outcome (beyond that of all citizens)? No.
Is he employed by City Hall? No.
Is he an office holder that needs to "control the message" to get re-elected? No.

So what exactly is his conflict of interest.

In addition, JOB has allowed City Hall to print its propaganda in the Observer....a level of fairness you would never see from "Lakewood Citizen" or "Lakewood Hometown News".

Other than the water bill, these things aren't "advertisements". They are City-controlled media outlets that masquerade as independent news sources. When asked by the PD, Fitzy himself described "Lakewood Neighborhood News" as "a newspaper", not as an ad.
Lakewood Citizen NEVER reveals its obvious conflicts of interest on the site.

That new FB page was set up separately from the Official City of Lakewood Government page in order to appear as an independent source.
I understand what you are trying to say but it sounds like sour grapes to me.

Listen, Jim O'Bryan is also a conflict of interest. He is a citizen, editor, publisher and outspoken activist yet you do not have a problem with it because you side with him. This is not picking on Jim, it is just his role and place in the community and as a citizen of Lakewood. This is the best example that came to mind right now.

So after considering your siding with Jim and his representation it sounds to me like sour grapes.
Corey,

You repeatedly verify the theme of this post. It is clear that you are the only poster on this thread who has a financial interest in getting the money of the faux foundation for your cause and you want to keep your actions secret--you have a conflict of interest in being transparent at every level. You admit above that City Hall and team Summers and your pals Jay Carson and Rick Alltricks are in the shadows and all have conflicts.

Thank you.
You crack me up! Is this how you perform your tasks, put words into people's mouths to fulfill your own mission?

Thank you for showing us the insanity that is this topic's biggest supporters and advocates.

Corey

Really?

First Bridget doesn't represent my side. I do. Bridget represents her side.

Perhaps you get talking points from your friends.

You can't seem to grasp what I am saying. I had two objections with Ed and Kevin Butler's paper. No real names, no accountability, and every ad was the result of a campaign contribution to Summers campaign. See let me break it down, Law Director Butler and checks from Mayor's campaign propel highly political paper right before election to change minds. Had they put their name on it, and really had ad sales, how could anyone complain?

Public officials, not being honest and transparent. Are you catching the singular thought that runs through this.

Please note, as an Ex-elected official, not getting public funds, I could care less what Ed FitzGerald does.

I am not here to stir up anything. I come to this table, with one seat, one name, and one opinion. mine.

I am not like nearly every other Lakewood site where admins use multiple names to control conversation.

Is this the part where I am supposed to bow my head, stick out my hand and accept the Koolaid?

Corey

hahahahaha

No this is where you are supposed to realize that people form their own opinions.

Oh, I get it, you must have "handlers" that tell you what to say.

My bad, no the only koolaid served here is speak up tell us what you think. All of Save Lakewood knows it. All of Build Lakewood knows it. City Hall knows it. Everyone knows it, we encourage discussion not shut it down. The Observer asks people to speak their mind, not post what they are told to say.

This is why the control freaks hate it. One of the many reasons you love it.

Weekend is too nice to go back and forth on this.

Working on special surprise, even you will like.

That must have hurt your head and fingers to type.

If I had "handlers" they would probably advise me to stay off this site and not make comments. It looks like the majority of others must have handlers advising them the same.

I have heard that the Koolaid tastes like sour grapes anyway. More on that later this summer.

Take it easy Tiger, it is you performing the "tasks" all on your own, not my doing anything. It was you who wrote "Jim O'Bryan is also a conflict of interest." So you admit that obvious fact that those you are aligned with and defend are in a conflict of interest. Your words--your mouth, not mine. Unless of course, Rick Alltricks is using your password and user ID.

The more you struggle the tighter the noose gets--K. Warren's rope. When you step fully into the light, you will be free of the rope, but I understand you can't give up the bennies of the insider's club--the carrot Summers is dangling before you beguiles you---but here on the Deck, you're dangling on the end of the rope that you can't let go of--you have to prove your point, but you are proving mine. Just accept it or cower back in the shadows with the others.

This Insider's Club you mention - I want in. My invitation must have gotten lost in the mail. Maybe yours was lost as well.

Let us not forget that it was Kevin Butler that applied for the Secretary of State registration for Fitz's fake newspaper. Did anyone notice the advertisers in this paper? The three biggies were Laskey, Litten and Rozi's.
