Thanks, maybe I'm a little super sensitive because I really love that area too and wouldn't have intentionally done anything to hurt it.

I have heard and experienced the noise issues and the bar issues for years. It truly is a huge problem that has been difficult to solve. But from what I heard the residents did a very good job at that meeting.

Jim,

I live next to John Craighead (and he was my realtor in buying the house), so you're probably talking about the same family I'm talking about!

I much prefer John as a neighbor, though he's done such nice work on his house that I feel embarrassed sometimes because it's going to take me years to get my house looking that good!

John is a great neighbor, and has helped to make Lakewood and Rockway a better place.

I have known John, and his sister Mary Beth since junior high.

I know the same family is not in it now.

That family was forced out through foreclosure 10 years ago maybe.

You have a bunch of good people on Rockway.

well, except for my other next door neighbors ...

But John is a great guy, and helped sell us on Lakewood more than anything else. He's also tireless as a booster for the city and the neighborhood, so I look forward to being his neighbor for a long, long, time.
