Did anyone see that show when it was at SPACES gallery? Maybe a little over a year ago.

SPACES has been occasionally presenting shows that deal with city issues. I think one called "Shrinking Citites" is still up--more information than art show, but it has great examples of grass roots adaptation in neighborhoods of widespread abandonment.

Has anyone on this board looked at the price of scrap metal? A shopping cart could bring in about $10.00. We could collect them, scrap them and rebuild Kid's Cove. Better yet, we could pass them out free of charge to all of the area scrap collectors. We could help these hard working folks out by lubing the wheels so Lakewood citizens will not hear squeaking.
