I am really on the fence on this issue. I agree with Steve Davis, "We have been lucky so far but in the future..."

My biggest problem is I watched first hand as BP America's managers managed BP from the 3rd largest company in the world to number 75. At a time that oil and other petro chemicals giants were doubling in size.

Also while you site Cleveland Heights, I could site Hurron.

This is a topic that warrants a deep discussion, and needs to be vetted.

The two things that float in my mind and cause my conflicts.

"Would the city manager be from Lakewood or from outside?"

Have you been to Cleveland Heights council meeting that are open to the public? Which of the 6 chairs provided did you sit in!
