That quote pretty much said it all.

Chris DeVito might not speak for Jim Kenny, but Jim Kenny sure as heck speaks for Mike Summers.

To be fair, Jim may be right that the citizens of Lakewood are to blame. If we hadn't impeded the process, there would be no hospital to hemorrhage money.

Mr. Kenny, Thank you for your honesty and for the insight into Team Summers/Build Lakewood. We're now witnessing how effortless it is to make the transition from misleading constituents to blaming them.

When I dropped the story on January 8, their plan would have been make it public mid june.

After filing for Mayor closed, to stop anyone running against him that wanted to use it as a
tool, and as a surprise to use against any looking forward candidate.

So we would have only known this for about 3 weeks now.

Of course the problem is we have a lame duck Council President who has promise to
ram this through no matter what people say, and a Mayor trying desperately to get us to
the point of no return.

I totally accept that Jim Kenny is speaking for himself, and not Build Lakewood, or the
Mayor. I would think many members have similar thoughts.

In keeping with Sean's sense of fairness, while in an uncontested election against an empty chair, Michael P. Summers was elected mayor after first being appointed to the vacant seat by City Council.

As this next election approaches, let us all remember that elections have consequences.

Again, if Tom Bullock hasn't even made a decision yet (according to him) since City Council continues to evaluate the evidence, why do Build Lakewood and Team Summers insist that they have all the answers?
