David,

Once again you should not assume anything. But you are good at it.

You are correct that I don't need a minivan, my 4th child can ride in the truck.

Ivor was not talking about the minivan aspect of parenting.

Go read first, then comment. It is the wise thing to do.

McCain is still the safer choice.

Not that it matter but before I had my fourth child I drove a sedan, it was so much fun trying to put three carseats in the back of it.

I used to have the bumper sticker "Doing My Part To P*** Off The Religious Right". I used to get followed and honked at. Some honks were in support. Others had a finger signal accompanying, that was fun.

I bought it from a church.

I like how a college kid can talk about parenting, just like a single talks about marriage - just doesn't hold much weight.

WOW Ryan....Sounding pretty elitist, doncha think? While I can appreciate the idea that there is a certain benefit in talking from experience, it certainly doesn't follw that not yet having had the experience of being married or having parented a child means you don't have insights.

Every college kid has some pretty valuable insights on parenting...from the other side of the coin. They can tell us what worked and what didn't when they got "parented", which are the lessons they will use when they do the parenting....

Lot of priests out there who counsel their flock on marital, parenting and sexual issues....and probably most are celebate
