Now that you mention the lead advocate of banning strip clubs is an admitted "recovering porn addict" it reminds me of this episode of Beavis and Butt-head....

They sue a girl from school for sexual harassment on very flimsy grounds...

There are people called "south park republicans". They seem to be a much smaller group than the "beavis and butthead republicans".

I honestly don't think they represent all Republicans. I think strip clubs are an equal party place! Just judging from history and all the politicians and preachers that get caught doing far more than that!!!!

I didn't want to get into that subject but the majority of strippers have come from abuse and deep down don't even like men that much. Sorry to burst anyone's bubble, but they are taking back the power that someone took from them already. And some learned to believe they were only good for their body, since they were abused that way. I know most don't want to look beyond the "glamor" of the club that the PD printed the other day, but I have worked with enough to know, that is all some of them have. And most abuse alcohol or drugs to be able to do it.

Maybe if this does pass, for the wrong reasons, it will force some to go in another direction. Find something better. Who knows. But society still perpetuates images of women being sexual objects. That will never be stopped.

I just realized I should clarify, I worked with them as a social worker,not a co-worker!
