The "City of Lakewood" is both a plaintiff and a defendant and even though Ed, Amy, DL, Bill, and Marguerite are also plaintiffs, my reading of the complaint is that they are are essentially pursuing a claim on the City's behalf (and our behalf as taxpayers).

So it would appear that if there is any money to be paid (after attorneys fees and costs), that money would be paid to the City. Presumably if it ever comes to that, the judgment entry could be fashioned so that the money is earmarked or put in a special funds.

So, for example, it doesn't just get put in the General Fund and get spent on the Active Living Task Force or New Foundation Task Force or other "well intentioned" but fiscally questionable "dreams".

A thought on what it could be used for: pay for ambulance services to the various hospitals, and perhaps one of those mobile stroke units to be stationed in Lakewood.

Wow! It seems this thread really drifted from the original post.
The mobile stroke units, I believe there are two, are kept at Cleveland Clinic Main Campus. I don't believe they would EVER station one just for Lakewood at the Lakewood Urgi-Care. Remember, CCF only cares about the alleged illegal deal they made with Summers and Extended Company and not about the rest of the citizens of Lakewood. You could be taken to the hospital three times by ambulance before the stroke unit would ever arrive in Lakewood, especially during rush hour.

There is a lot of money being made on these "ambulance rides". I can't help but feel that this could possibly be some sort of a scam. After all, Donald Marten and Sons are very friendly with CCF. I believe they used to sponsor the ambulance races.

Now, back on track. A year and seven months from the start, and still no trial. I allege that judge O'Donnell is aiding and abetting Summers and CCF. I believe the medical building will be up and open for six months before he even holds court on this case again.

Get your complaints in to the Ohio Supreme Court and the United States Attorney General. This stinks, and something is definitely not right!
