Pae's Experiment Fails Amid Groundswell of Support for Observer

The Plain Dealer is reporting that the new Private Foundation (funded with City money ) will be providing bus service to Avon so the people of Lakewood can see their doctor.

Their stories keep shifting like the sand on Clifton beach.

Summers' goal was always to use money otherwise belonging to the City to fund a private foundation and keep it from the elected officials he thinks are stupid. So he orchestrated a scheme to have the public charitable money by-pass the City so he could sell the plan all the while claiming it wasn't the City's money--Pae (a pawn) repeated over and over that the hospital was privatized back in 1986 and that it was somehow dangerous for the City to receive $50M in cash and valuable real estate. To promote the scheme in two elections cycles, Summer fabricated a financial "crisis" claiming $78M in fictitious "wind down costs" so that he could claim there was no LHA money left (i.e. no City money left) and the Clinic (our hero corporation) would rescue us and fund the "new foundation".

Hence, O'Leary (another pawn) and City Hall claimed that the "Clinic" was funding a "Community" foundation.

Pae, in her October, 2016 Affidavit (prepared, notarized and filed in Court by Butler), claimed: "On March 1, 2016, $200,000 was paid by CCF to the City to begin the process of forming a new community wellness foundation. The Master Agreement requires an additional $32,200,000 be paid to the City by CCF for the community wellness foundation in various installments over 15 years commencing when the FHC opens."

But the Master Agreement provides: ".....that these payments be used for the benefit of the Lakewood community and its
residents and to support New Foundation's tax-exempt purposes, the Clinic and/or LHA will transfer or contribute a total of Twenty-Four Million Four Hundred Thousand Dollars ($24,400,000) to New Foundation (using LHA funds to the extent available..."

Now its a "private" foundation funded with "City Money"---Why the change? The election is now over and it would seem that Mr. Kindt's threads have City Hall and the PD trying to cover the Pae/Butler false statement by public official(s) under oath thingy.

Expect more shifting sands and City Hall has to walk back through the mine field they created.
