Amy you really seem to have a lot of hate in your heart, I hope you find peace by seeking the Truth. Life is much easier when you can find the positive in less than perfect situations.

It is not me who has hate, but you that are blind.

Please enlighten me on the characteristics that you so admire in this man that you voted for him? I'm just asking for you to defend your candidate.

And your daughters - shame on you as a father for holding this man and his porn star wife as people to be admired. Michele Obama was ostracized for daring to go sleeveless at a state dinner, yet Melania Trump has hundreds of naked and pornographic pictures available on the internet, and she is our next first lady. The irony in the whole situation truly expresses the racism in the Republican party. But of course, no one really wants to admit that they're racist, homophobic, misogynous . . .

Amy,

Thankfully I owe you no explanation or justification. I will not respond to your hateful or ignorant comments about or toward me. Trump won, Republicans hold senate and house. I know this must be a scary time for you but things will be OK. I do truly hope you let go of your anger and hatred of folks that think differently than you.

Still don't know where my "hatred" is coming through to you. Seems to me, Ryan, that it is you who harbors hatred. Hatred of women, minorities, immigrants, gays - hatred of anything white.

MAKE AMERICA WHITE AGAIN

This will be my last post on the issue. Still waiting for you to defend your candidate rather than call me a hater. Guess it's easier to pick on me than admit the truth about Trump.

Unfortunately it seems like most politicians lie, even here locally.

Ken Blackwell, Keith Kellogg, Ed Meese, Mike Rogers, David Malpass, Marsh Blackburn, Devin Nunes to name a few.

Most GOP folks realized how disastrous a Clinton presidency would be and voted for the better of the two choices.
You do not want to list Trumps lies. I am still waiting for you to answer Amy's questions and comments. You are the one standing up for Trump. Is life in America turning into a reality show? Trumps hatred for certain groups is showing a major flaw in his character and his treatment of women is very telling of his attitude and you are condoning it. How do you defend that?

Hi, Ryan - I'd sure like to know what your definition of "OK" is (and if that same definition applies to non-white, non-straight, non-Christian, non-males).

I'm betting Donald Trump will have a change of heart, just as he already has, about prosecuting Hillary, and building a wall, now maybe, he says it will be a chain link fence in some areas, a wall in another, haven't we all changed our minds? After seriously considering the options? I'm going to give him a chance, time to see what happens. I promises, I will not riot, burn businesses, assault supporter's or protestors, I will not commit suicide or move to another country, just let it ride.

Hard to defend the indefensible. As my always nonpartisan mother asked at lunch today ..."how could anyone vote for such a terrible human being?"

Trump is a lot of things, but he's no more an ideologue than he is prepared to be president.
Left alone, he would probably choose a pragmatic course. But there are many, many things he doesn't care about and the conservative ideologues around him will fill the vacuum.
I think this duality (pragmatism v. conservative usurpation) is exemplified in his choice of Priebus and Bannon.
