This thing is fascinating, but it doesn’t take into account the walkability of the walk. It has no way of knowing about impassible obstacles (rivers, highways, cliffs, etc.), the presence of sidewalks, or the presence of agitated cement truck drivers.
I’m getting a score of 69, but as an experienced pedestrian would give it a much higher rating.

Rating the neighborhood is one thing, but the more important question is how does that translate into action. In other words, how much do we Lakewoodies take advantage of our walkability?
Do you walk your kids to school?
Do you walk to the corner convenience story for sunday morning eggs?
The bus stop?
To church?
I'm curious to hear where people walk habitually.

and yeah a lot of stuff is missing. We live basically in the middle of Lakewood and we can walk to anything, I really think that score is super low.
