I have never heard condos.

I was told 4 floors, top two the gym, bottom two something else.

Too crowded. I see they increased their hours but still for the price... and they only have yoga one night a week and charge extra for it. The classes I took were very crowded with little room to move and the instructors weren't very helpful probably because there were 50 people in it. They can't possibly watch 50 people's form.

I have heard this from many members.

It has provided a good kick for the health studios in the city, as the frustration grows.

Gold's people cited this as one reason for wanting to come her.

Oh i waited awhile for it to die down. I just started last month and it hasn't been bad. I guess it depends on what hours you go. I don't know what it is like at night, if it is more crowded. The days or mornings seem not so busy and the yoga class during the day I think has less than 15 so the instructor can really help. If you work during the day though, it may be more crowded in the evening. I love the open gym and pool to take the little ones to during the winter. It is hard to find places to keep them active when it is cold out.

So Jim, no Trader Joes then? What a let down. 30 miles seems like a long distance to not allow another store. It would do well here.

I never said that either.

no Trader Joe's in Westlake said they never put a store within 30 miles of another store. I thought this was a pretty long distance to limit other stores. Most won't drive 30 miles for one store. Oh well.

Well now Blockbuster will have a short move while their building is demolished and redeveloped.

We need a Whole Food Market or Mustard Seed or Wild Oats on the west side.

Jim,

I trust that if Gold's does move in you will be the first in line for membership--you have to maintain that girlish figure somehow.

...or are you already a member?

The rumor is there's going to be a Mustard Seed at the New Westgate. Nothing confirmed that I know of, but I've heard that from numerous sources.

I don't believe that 30 miles rule for an instant ... look at a place like Boston, where there are two that are only a few miles away. And obviously the two in Columbus AREN'T 30 miles apart.

But as much as I love TJ's, I'd love to have a Whole Foods; the old GE site would be just lovely for that, though we don't fit their demographics, sadly enough.

The Webb of Life was sold earlier this year. I thought that may have been a sign that another big "Organic type Market" was coming to town.
