I'd rather support a Lakewood business, but if that business is not interested in making it more convenient to take my money then I'll be breakfasting at Bob Evans instead.

Jim,

We still need to post our “review-part two” from a few weeks ago.

In the meantime, I’m happy to report that Katie and I went to the Bob Evans this morning in the ‘Wood for breakfast and the place was packed.

Katie's response to her breakfast was similar to mine, “It tastes like Bob Evans.”

During our breakfast, one of Bob Evans’ finest waitresses came over to our table and asked me, “Are you the guy who comes in for breakfast with the publisher of The Lakewood Observer?”

To which I responded, “I'm one of many.”

The waitress then shared with Katie and me that she was really angry about the title of this thread being, “The Devil Comes To Lakewood, And He Is Looking For You!”

To which I responded, “Oh.”

The waitress then added, “But then I read the article and it was great. It was really great! Tell him his article is great!”

To which I responded that I would share her positive review of your literary genius.

And I also shared with the waitress that, “Sometimes it pays to actually read what people write before you complain about what they wrote.”

To which the waitress agreed.

One year ago today, Jim O'Bryan and I were the first customers at Lakewood's Bob Evans ... the food still tastes like Bob Evans food.
