Thanks for sharing this great video, Jim. The first half was especially enriching.
It’s easy to focus on something we can see and ignore that which appears to be a void. However, scientists are leaders in the art of challenging the assumption and being open-minded as to the results.
Very cool.

Over the Emerald Canyon, at 9:00pm 2.06.2010. You are seeing the light pollution from Westgate, and Crocker Park. Kind of cool, like an artificial faux Northern Lights.

If you have not got the chance to get to the middle of no ware, far away from any city and look up. Please do.

Sunday Morning 2.21.10 Looking East at Highland Ave. and Detroit Ave. into Cleveland.
Sunday Morning
Sunday morning, praise the dawning It's just a restless feeling by my side Early dawning, sunday morning It's just the wasted years so close behind
Watch out, the world's behind you There's always someone around you who will call It's nothing at all
Sunday morning and I'm falling I've got a feeling I don't want to know Early dawning, sunday morning It's all the streets you crossed, not so long ago
Watch out, the world's behind you There's always someone around you who will call It's nothing at all
Watch out, the world's behind you There's always someone around you who will call It's nothing at all
Sunday morning Sunday morning Sunday morning

Not far from here you can experience an incredible view of celestial delights. Check out;
Yes. It is a great place to help put things in perspective and well worth the trip if the clouds cooperate.

Stepping out of Sullivan's tonight for my first legal beer... things were a bit foggy.
Was a bit worried, but it was just the lakeshore weather in the end!

Has anyone ever seen this phenomenon?
I do not ever remember seeing this before, and while not in Lakewood, would have been able to be seen from Lakewood yesterday.
I was out driving around when a friend and I were headed west on Brookpark and I noticed the sunset.
We stop so I can get this photo of a pickup truck on I-71 in front of the sunset. (Yes driving with me in a car is a complete pain in the rear)
Feeling this is a good one, we drive west looking for open space.
Coming out from under a bridge we notice just how odd this was, in so much as the red plume that seems to shoot up out of the sun.
These photos do not do justice to just how bright and tall this plume/ray was.
It was very intense and neither of us, nor anyone else remembers seeing this before.

April showers blow in over the Emerald Canyon. 4.25.10
April Showers
Life is not a highway strewn with flowers, Still it holds a goodly share of bliss, When the sun gives way to April showers, Here is the point you should never miss.
Though April showers may come your way, They bring the flowers that bloom in May. So if it's raining, have no regrets, Because it isn't raining rain, you know, (It's raining violets,) And where you see clouds upon the hills, You soon will see crowds of daffodils, So keep on looking for a blue bird, And list'ning for his song, Whenever April showers come along.
And where you see clouds upon the hills, You soon will see crowds of daffodils, So keep on looking for a blue bird, And list'ning for his song, Whenever April showers come along.
