Shame on City Hall. Find some good candidates and vote out the b*stards! And find Finance and Operations Managers who know what they're doing.
This is a repeat. I know this is very manager-y but it's a way to quantify and have a more objective dialogue...
Does the City of Lakewood create and publish Service Level Agreements (SLAs)? If so one could compare today's actual performance against the SLA. And if the City has SLAs from years and decades prior, one could determine if services have been diminished or dis-invested. One could also benchmark and compare the City of Lakewood to surrounding cities big and small.

Sent in by a reader, this was shot 12/17/2016 we are talking about safety of all residents and visitors.

We were told of this marvelous thing called City Stats, it would let every citizen know how every penny is spent, where there are problems, and monitor stuff like service in real time. They talked about it for over a year, sent out release when we went to it. Everyone, many helping get rid of the hospital now, suddenly realized it showed how pitiful they were doing, and it was discarded, they also shorten document retention, only work with media they can control, and harassing residents that complained.
Lakewood, during the FitzGerald/Summers regime, have destroyed Lakewood and its cool factor for a handful of magic beans.

Things like the Ohio Checkbook tell us how the money is being spent. But I'm more curious about the trends in the money coming in. That's where the problem is.

Let it be known that on this day, January 30th, 2017, Wilbert, Nicholson, and Edgewater by the mayor were all cleared by 7:30 A.M. No, this is not a joke. It has been confirmed.
Does membership have its benefits?
