You mean the debt that's been growing ever since we borrowed the money to win independence from Britain? It's not really fair to lay the problem on any one president, it's been an issue since Washington.

Emergency Rooms would like to know you have some kind of insurance.

The right is conflicted over illegal immigrants. you can get rich enough to complain about taxes if you hire enough illegal immigrants. whether you're one of the big commodity greens wholesalers, their fast food or chain store retailer customers, a "developer" of subdivision housing, An insurance salesmen in a new sunbelt sprawl market, a mortgage broker, a realtor in the sunbelt, the wall street geniuses who securitize the mortgages, You're getting rich with illegals. it is a cool thing to do. you'll make enough money to float bozo talk radio hosts, fox news, some think tanks, and enough politicians to lower your taxes. The public might get antsy about so much outsourcing, illegal insourcing, and wall street loutishness. so...get some token anti-immigration laws going. it is okay: the more illegal they are, the more desperate they will be for lower wages: you can make more money. Play it Smart!

I never agreed with it, but I was taught in business courses at CSU that some debt is actually good to have. It shows a willingness to grow.
Too much is a bad thing though, especially when it starts being used for normal operating expenses.
