I will say I was not evil to all subs, just 1. Just 1 nasty horrible sub. The entire class did not like this person, and this was in highschool. The entire school did not like him and I can assure you some teachers did not like him. I would make myself sick to avoid going to his class. I was a sub, as well as a teachers aide for special education students, so I know how hard it is. I dont want anyone out there to think I abuse teachers or their subs.

As for city council, I want a member who will stick to their word. I want a member who will follow thru on things. When a person tells me they are going to do something I want it done, or at least worked on. I dont want empty words to my face. I have not lived here long, 6 years now, but I will say with each year that passes, I pay closer attention to what is going on. I thank Mr. Powers for the pit ban because without him, I would not have been so attracted to the inner workings of a city. (that is the only time you will hear that sentence from me!!!!)

To those that are running, I wish you luck tomorrow, and I wish you success if you do get the chance to serve. I know who I am voting for, and no one will change my mind. I came up with this on my own, so sling mud if you wish, say what you wish, you will not change my hard work in researching people. Just like each issue out there.

There is now serious doubt that John Morrison is a real person.

I had given John as we have done with others time to prove he is a real person
and as of now the deadline has passed, but he has found time to post again.

This website is run by citizens and volunteers that believe one real name, one real voice.

I would hope that well all take this very seriously, and also really weigh out what would
a low blow it is to transparency and honesty that has become the standards here.

So while we are finding it hard for some real politicians to find their voice on this new
internet thing. Let's also think of who and why some would lie and cheat all of us of
the transparency and honesty we all signed up for.

Observers deserve better, Lakewood deserves much better.

It is pitiful.

Vote for honesty, transparency, and council members that can actually converse
with others and use that new internet thingy.

It is quite comical that the comic relief in my post ("worst substitute teacher ever") has been the focus of both criticism and defense (including by the candidate himself!)...

I guess the parts about his bigotry, dishonesty, poor character, and illegality aren't all that relevant...

I think the results of my post and its replies show it better than ever - this guy is desperate, he avoids the real issues that made him lose his last two elections, and he has way too much time on his hands... (no, I'm not even clicking on your lame uploads... sorry).

sad...

yet, revealing.

Stephen,

Good to have you back.

Though we've disagreed at times, I really enjoy your perspective.

Note to John:

Firstly, welcome to the 'Deck. You certainly do seem to know how to make a splash.

Secondly, just as an observation, what is often "revealed" might not always be what was intended, however....but that's how this old 'Deck seems to work.

Back to the banjo...

Stephen,

Trust me when I tell you that I absolutely cannot WAIT to see how you interchange with a few of the 'Deck newcomers.

This will be as good as the best professional wrestling matches ever seen, I do believe.

If this is not a kumbayah moment, I know not what will ever be.

(short-lived though it might be- smile)

Back to the banjo.....

It's gonna be one interesting week!

Jim, I once knew of a Jim Morrison, but I think he permanently moved to eastern Paris, France in 1971.
